ANGLESEY CIRCUIT TRACK DAY – FEB 2020

Saturday 22nd February 2020, Anglesey Circuit… We have never experienced wind like it. Despite the unbelievable gusts, the track day event, organised by BMW Car Club Great Britain, was a massive success for us. It was important to give the cars some track time, especially the 1 Series due to its participation in the BMW CCR Championship in April. Improving upon last year’s setup, we wanted to try out the new AP Racing brakes and fine tuned geometry. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
On another positive note, we bought the Compact out for a run after a lengthy rest period. Once again, the E46 has proven to be a fantastic track weapon. Ultra reliable and never missed a beat all day.
All in all, a great day out on our first visit to Anglesey Circuit.

We had a great time this year attending the Autosport International Motorshow at the NEC, Birmingham, with BMW Car Club Great Britain and BMW Car Club Racing. Representing ARM/Mapfreaks was our 335d E91, tuned to 450hp and 1000nm.

BMW CAR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2020 EVENT DATES
The BMW Car Club Racing team have recently released the event dates for this season’s championship. After its debut season competing in the M1 Class, our E81 1 Series V8 hatch we will be back again this year following further development.
Joining the E81 is our E46 325ti Compact which will be available to hire at most competition and organised car club track day events.
