By adjusting these parameters, we can safely tune to your car’s stock hardware specifications or beyond those limits with the aid of hardware upgrades.

Our software is developed in house by data logging and extensive dyno testing.  We meticulously analyse this data to see where we can make adjustments within the software so we can extract the every ounce of performance, whilst maintaining perfect drivability.

Standalone ECU Tuning

There are many scenarios when an OEM ECU may not be suitable based on the hardware modifications made, or the standard ECU has too many limitations to extract full potential.  Luckily we are able to offer standalone ECU tuning. Live mapping on our rolling road; we will first create a base map, allowing us to getting the vehicle to run.  We will then begin developing the software to achieve maximum power and perfect drivability.

This time consuming process involves extensive testing and development to ensure the vehicle is operating at optimum performance.

Transmission Tuning

Mapfreaks are pleased to offer performance software solutions for many VAG DSG transmissions and BMW ZF Auto and DCT transmissions.

Our BMW solutions are provided by the critically acclaimed XHP Flashtool.  XHP Flashtool are the leading developers for tuning BMW automatic transmissions worldwide. We are delighted to offer Stage 1, 2 and 3 mapping on many 6 speed, 8 speed ZF variants as well as many of the DCT options commonly found in the M car range.

The XHP software dramatically improves the speed and sharpness of the gear changes, providing the driver with an instant gear change with minimal lag.
